the case is exactly how it looks in the picture. it snaps on easily and stays in place. i love the greyish/black color. it has precut spaces for all the functions -- ie: camera, speaker, headphone jack, etc. the material is a combo of rubber and a hardshell -- it fits nicely without a lot of added bulk.
very inexpensive (you can easily pay $25+ for a case at the sprint store) & very good quality.
i would highly recommend this product.

just wanted to add one more thing. you have to be very careful if you ever want to remove the case and put it back on. it can be kind of difficult removing it, and if you're not careful the small tabs that keep the case attached to the phone can break.

Non skid grips along the side keep it from slipping out of your hands. Protects the phone from most bumps and scrapes. Outterbox protection and quality. You can't go wrong. I didn't use the screen protector that came with the case. I prefer BoxWave anti glare screens.

(More customer reviews)I rarely do reveiws, but I depend on them so heavily, so I decided to write one. This case is excellent. I have owned my pre for about 6 months, and have gone through 3 cases. The Suedio Innocase was first. It's very thin, and very low profile, but the little clips broke in about 3 weeks. Then I went with the $5 special. That case was very thick, and the clips broke after a month or so. Third, the Otterbox. Here is what they don't tell you on the product details. It has rubber on the left and right for grip, the rest is very hard plastic. Most cases you can't get to the volume and power buttons, this case has built in rubber buttons that go over the volume and power so they are very easy to get to. The plastic feels much sturdier than other cases, and it has twice as many clips to hold it in place. It is slightly thicker than the Suedio, but not to thick. It also comes with a free screen cover, and for some reason, this one actually stays on. I am very pleased with this case, best case on the market for the Pre. Also, if you are trying to organzie your music, now that itunes doesn't work, use Music Monkey, it's perfect.
