(More customer reviews)i bought this item about a month ago. for the price, it's a perfect case. i have not had it break yet, and i have dropped it a few times. actually, at this price, i was able to purchase a few of them in different colors so i can switch them around for a fresh look :) this case is plastic but spray painted its designated color, with a kind of rubberized feel to it, making the case not so slippery. the phone can sit on my lap in the car without sliding off when the car turns, but it still slides into my pocket fairly easily. the case does NOT cover the gesture area. it is a lil tricky to get on and off, but thats good... so it doesnt accidently come off! if the small tabs keeping it on break, the case will become unusable but at the price, just buy a new one! instead of a new phone. overall, a good item. please note: the description says its for "PALM PRE PLUS" but it fits my PALM PRE (for sprint) perfectly fine.
